Skip a Beat 02:51
Its so hard to look forward when your head keeps turning back so very hard to move along with obstacle on track, A sweet and easy ride is all that lie on the other side of this mountain so steep then I'll climb each side a thousand times just to fall down at your feet, He cause's heart to skip a beat from shuffle walk to skipping feet, from weary eyes to diamond bright life's a little more complete. He cause's heart to skip a beat from shuffle walk to skipping feet, from weary eyes to diamond bright life's a little more complete. so why I'm acting foolish when there's plenty more fish in the sea, I'm told that I'll find someone new but it just don't appeal to me, A sweet and easy ride is all that lies on the other side of this mountain so steep then I'll climb each side a thousand times just to fall down at your feet, He cause's heart to skip a beat from shuffle walk to skipping feet, from weary eyes to diamond bright life's a little more complete. He cause's heart to skip a beat from shuffle walk to skipping feet, from weary eyes to diamond bright life's a little more complete. A little bird landed on my windowsill as the rain it clattered against the pane, and when he saw me he knew I looked ill so he whistled a sweet refrain, And you do look the same in the photographs you don't age, The little bird he flew away but the rain in my brain still remains. So please excuse the mess I am, a fragile sheltered soul and you'll never be ready to catch me as I fall from your pedestal. And you do look the same, in the photographs you don't age and the little bird he flew away but the rain in my brain still remains And as I tumble through the universe you'll realise I was always a star, And as I tumble through the universe you'll realise I was always a star, And as I tumble through the universe you'll realise I was always a star, And as I tumble through the universe you'll realise I was always a star, So please excuse the mess I am, a fragile sheltered soul and you'll never be ready to catch me as I fall from your pedestal, As I fall from your pedestal. Mmmmm, mmmm, ooooo, ooooo, mmmmmm, mmmm, mmmm, mmmm,Mmmmm, mmmm, oooooo, ooooo, mmmmmm, mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm

Tired Eyes 02:57
Lay your body down next to mine, And I will ease your tired eyes, your tired eyes, You leave again and I know why you have to go, it spells another week that I remain here on my own, so I'll text you everyday and tell you every way how I dying for you to come home So lay your body down next to mine, And I will ease your tired eyes, Your tired eyes You smile as you come through the door and you hug like you did before So lay your body down next to mine, And I will ease your tired eyes, Your tired eyes So lay your body down next to mine, And I will ease your tired eyes, Your tired eyes

I was told to dream a little dream cause the big ones are out of my reach if you give them an inch, they take a yard and pull the rug out from under your feet And the downside of democracy is that the wealthy all sit at the top and it wasn't built on solid foundation it's just supported by blocks And modesties the same as conforming it's just denying who, who you are and now it's mid-twenties not forties were all sat nursing our pints at the bar and when you wake up after the weekend and you put on your shirt and tie your dreams of fame and fortune fade replaced by your nine to five If it was survival of the fittest well most of us would figure that out but it's survival of the richest so most of us decide to drop out And there's something wrong, when the average man can not earn more than a drug dealer can and if you kick a ball with any skill at all you're practically king of the land And modesties the same as conforming it's just denying who, who you are and now it's mid-twenties not forties were all sat nursing our pints at the bar and when you wake up after the weekend and put on your shirt and tie your dreams of fame and fortune fade replaced by your nine to five They always ask you when you're little what do you wanna be when you grow up but it's kind of a rhetorical question when no one really gives a fuck And as you search your life for fortune and fame and everyone to remember your name your name will be forever set in stone when your lowered into the grave

The Shoebox 03:22
The trouble with friendship is verbal contracts can be broken and the problem with relationship is there's to many words left unspoken, Paradise lasting longer than the week, so you push round the hoover he just lifts up his feet and the tears you cry just fall on by or stain your clean sheets So take your shoebox out from underneath the bed you don't need it any more just throw it out instead but wait, just wait, then no.... Remember the first holiday in Spain, or the first time you both went singing in the rain, those nights spent gazing at the moon, every silly soppy little tune or the first time he ever said darling, darling, I love you When they told you to find something blue, they didn't mean for you to take it with you, last happiness was that sunny honeymoon now all you do is cook and clean every room So take your shoebox out from underneath the bed you don't need it any more just throw it out instead but wait, just wait, then no.... Remember the first holiday in Spain, or the first time you both went singing in the rain, those nights spent gazing at the moon, every silly soppy little tune or the first time he ever said darling, darling, I love you

We sailed over some rocky waters but now all's coming clear, the up's and down's the smile's and frown's have all seem to disappear and all the great men are made from those who have gone before with the whole word in there hands they'll continue to one more..... So slide away and sail away and lets get up and gone, we don't know where we heading but we know we can't be wrong, so slide away and sail away to the place we've only dreamed not everyone has been there but everyone has seen All the roads we've wounded down now seem a distant track, we'll keep on moving forward never straining to look back, when they ask us when you coming from we'll say each place we've been, reaching out to touch the stars and sail on inbetween And the whole world is made from those who have gone before with the whole world in there hands they'll continue to one more...... So slide away and sail away and lets get up and gone, we don't know where we heading but we know we can't be wrong, so slide away and sail away to the place we've only dreamed not everyone has been there but everyone has seen So Slide away and sail away Slide away and sail away Slide away.... and sail away....
